Haul: few lil bits from Primark ♥

Hey girlies.. So i popped into Primark or otherwise known as penny's here in Ireland, i was on the lookout for biker boots, something i never thought i'd be into But..... with celebs like pixie lott, fearne cotton wearing them ever so beautifully i've decided to jump on board too... :) Thing is i'm ever soo picky about what kind of ones i'm after. There are a lovely pair in primark they're like a well worn in brownish/grey pair.. But unfortunatley my usual size 5 were just too tight.. booohooo! an they had no size 6, they seem to be selling fast an its no wonder..! So i'l try again next week, but i did pick up a few little bits in town today, nothing too exciting but thought i'd show you anyway..

Few lil accessories :)

Flower Hair clip

Pretty gold charm bracelet

Pearl dangly necklace

Ivory Lace Top

Leopard Print Chiffon top with ruffles at the front

Another 'Trend' I would normally bypass but this top is surprisingly very pretty on! ♥

This dress looks great on, would probably team it with black opague tights, ballet pumps, thin red belt around the waist and a red handbag..done! :))

Gorgeous Cream & Peach Floral scarf

Love these ankle boots, they look great with everything, from dresses, leggings, skinny jeans and i love anything in grey too..such a versatile colour and more interesting that black.

If i had bought these few bits else where i would have probably felt a little guilty for blowing my cash so impulsively but when it comes to primark i never feel bad...and why would i.. 50 euro for a bag full of stuff.... How can we argue with that..? :))

Barry M nail varnish in 306 Blueberry ♥

I got this yesterday unexpectedly while scanning the makeup stands in boots. I did wonder to myself 'can i justify yet another blue nail varnish?' But... Yes i can!! I geninely have no other blues like this in my collection, i mean i have a few but nothing like this shade. Highly pigmented, one coat could be enough, i always put two coats on! Its a stunning pastel sky blue-exactly what i have been after!

I lovvvvvvve this... ♥

No more messing..diet starts today!! :)

So as u can tell from the title.. its day 1 of my diet... :) I've always been a size 12 sometimes a 10 but my size 12 jeans are getting too tight..so much so that i've stopped wearing jeans for the past couple of weeks as they're uncomfortable :( an they're making me feel bad!! But today i've decided to stop being in denial and finally get those pounds off! All summer i have taken a very 'relaxed' approach to eating, drinking, bbq's, meals out, regular cappacinos have all taken their toll and caught up with me. Now when i say relaxed it doesn't mean on the other hand i'm very strict with myself but i am concious about gaining weight an being healthy as I do put on weight easily and it does show on me especially as i'm only 5ft 2.

So when i'm being reasonably strict with myself i do like to calorie count.. yes yes i know...! boring and not what the experts would advise.. However, i'm the kind of person that needs a number on it.. I feel i need some sort of structure and if i dont have that then i tend to overeat at dinner or snack on the wrong things. If i am calorie counting i know exactly where i stand an what i can have at meal times and possible snacks. This does not mean i have a piece of chicken an a lettuce leaf on my plate for dinner....... lol! I eat normal portions, and now i'm not just concerned about my waistline but about health in general.

So a typical healthy day for me would be:

Breakfast:   2 weetibix and half a banana, green tea or cup of coffee (skimmed milk)

Lunch:   Tuna salad or bowl of soup & 1 brown soda bread

Snack:  Apple & cup of tea

Dinner:  Pork, side salad, cous cous

Evening Snack: 2 finger kit kat or an orange

4 or 5 glasses of water a day.

I'l only have a sweet snack every other day usually of an evening in front of the tv thats when i mostly want to snack, this might seem too much for some people when dieting but i'm quite realistic with myself and if i decide to cut out all sweet things..i'l inevitably crave them, eventually giving in to temptation an eat lots of the wrong things!

We all have our own ways of doing things, we all know what works and what doesnt for our own bodies.
Now i just need to work on that other voice in my head urging me to just have that mcdonalds for lunch for example..

If anyone of you reading this are dieting at the moment or want to lose weight or indeed have lost weight, what worked for you?? leave me a comment :)) Would love to read them..

1. What is your favorite fashion magazine??

As bit of a magazine junkie i often buy Cosmopolitan, Company, Instyle & look magazine. I stopped reading mag's like closer, now & reveal, they print so much rubbish. MAC Haul: just a couple of things... :)

Popped into MAC to pick up a few things :) as u do... Some i'v been after for a while, others are just replacements. They were really to add to my kit but i am soo in love with them that they'l probably be used more so on myself than anyone else... :)) Didn't get a load of stuff, just a few things so thought i'd show you..

LadyBlush Creme blusher
-A cool tone pink sooo pretty on. Very dewy, only a tiny amount needed.

Mac Iridescent powder in Silver Dusk

Its a stunning silvery sheen, not glittery! Add's a gorgeous glow to the skin.
Swatched a bit too much here i think... :)

This is the makeup i wore today. I'm wearing silver dusk on the upper cheek bone & brow. Ladyblush creme blusher on the cheeks. Individually they are gorgeous..but together they are a perfect combination for glowing skin..! I love this blush it really is so so pretty. Silver dusk is Amaazing! but i will keep it for nights out/special occasions, and will always carry a spare in my kit.

Another sweet little purchase i got was Mac paint pot in Bare study, i'v bought this before its a lovely pretty champagne colour great as a base or even all over the lid for a subtle drop of colour. Perfect for work!

Mac Club eyeshadow
I'm surprised i haven't got this sooner, i've wanted this for a while. This is the shade Kristen Stewart has worn on her lid a few times with a little bronze through the crease. Wheather or not its actually Mac she has on is anyone's guess but this is certainly the closest shade to her's i've seen and as i'm a little obsessed with Kristen Stewart this was a definate must buy.. But aside from Kristen i'm very impressed with this colour its gorgeous on, i think this will be my new favourite Mac shadow! Will do a look using this club shortly...

Picked up Creme de nude & Costa chic
-Creme de nude most of you will know of, very popular nude shade, very creamy, i'v repurchased  this a few times defin a must for any makeup lovers collection.
-Costa Chic a stunning Coral pink, Beautiful shade! i'm soooo in love with this colour, been dribling over this for a while so finally got it and glad i did. Also great combination with Saint Germaine, makes a very unusual colour! Would show you a pic but cant find my saint germaine lipstick at the moment :(
I also bought NC20 Studio Fix concealer but you all know what it looks like so i wont bore you with a picture. I wear NW20 under the eye, but needed NC20 to cover blemishes an redness, its a yellow tone concealer so great for counter-acting redness. Its a little too light for me at the moment as my skin has a bit more colour to it at this time of the year but should be ok in the winter, if not in the kit it goes..! :))

Didn't get much of a look at the new feline collection but will pop back in there in a week or two to see if there is anything worth buying..although i'v had a cheeky look online an nothing has stood out..but we'l see!

Whats your must buy's from Mac..??

Gosh primer: yay...or...nay...??

I bought Gosh Primer last week never used it before so thought i'd give it a go...But...so far i'm not loving it
:( I have combination/oily skin and quite often get breakouts. I found that while Gosh primer felt amazing when applied to my skin, once the foundation was on it caked abit around my problem areas, and throughout the day there was no change my skin still looked dry an flakey in those areas like my chin.

So i guess i know now not to apply this to any problem areas an just to the main parts of the skin cheeks nose forehead etc, but judging this product in general i didn't really get any longer out of my makeup than i would have if i had no primer on so needless to say so far... i'm a little disppointed but i have only used it for a week so really don't want to make up my mind just yet, will need to give it a chance..

Has anyone else used Gosh primer? How did you find it?
