FOTD: Winter Wonderland inspired ♥

Its snowing here in Ireland since friday. I havent moved all weekend.. :(  I had initially planned to do some xmas shopping over the weekend. But it has snowed a fair bit where i live so as usual when it snows drivers are advised to stay off the roads unless absolutley neccessary. So its been a fairly lazy weekend as i live in a small town so there isnt much to do anyway and the nearest city for a good xmas shopping spree is at least one hours drive. I'd drive in the wind rain an fog...but Ice...? no no way too dangerous. Snow is pretty yes! But.. it causes so much disruption and its so unbearably cold outside it makes me wanna cry! :) I'm a true Summer girl!! So as i wasnt moving very far today i opted for a makeup look thats quite low key. Inspired by the snow.. A simple white shadow across the lid an underneath the eyes, small bit of mascara..no liner! Flushed cheeks & Red lip.. i wanted a more of a matte stained lip rather than full on red shiny lips an as i do not own a matte red lipctick, I matted the lipstick out with ordinary face powder.. It might not be everyones cup of tea, but i quite like white eyeshadow across the lid, something quite simple an pretty about it.

Review: Loreal Million lashes Mascara in Extra Black

Firstly i'm sorry i haven't done any blog posts in ages, since late september i think... :/ ooops. I have been up the walls the past few wks,an before that i was without my laptop for a couple of wks :( Back now anyhow!

So on with the review..I had been using Rimmel 3 in 1 mascara in recent months and i quite liked it but like many other girls who love makeup i do like to try new products on the market to see what they are like an if they are worth the hype.
Loreal million lashes mascara wasn't one i rushed out to buy. I saw the ad with Eva longoria an thought yes it looks lovely (even though she has lash inserts) but... All these new mascaras do always promise too much an can be quite often disappointing. I haven't tryed a loreal mascara in a long time usually a rimmel fan so after seeing a promising review on youtube i thought i'l give this one a go.
Firstly the packaging is Gorgeous! I love the shiny gold an black, looks more expensive than it is & classy in the ol makeup bag :) One thing i was worried about when i opened it was that it has a plastic wand and to be honest i'v never liked those wands before, i've never got on with them like i do with the 'brush' ones. However it wasnt a small plastic wand like rimmel sexy curves or any thing like that, its quite big. One coat of this an i was a happy girl!

^ one coat!

It thickened, lenthened, an made them very black in one coat..? But i'm not a 'one coat' kinda girl :) i do tend to layer it on.I love dolly lashes an this mascara doesnt disappoint!

Don't mind my slightly bloodshot eyes, they've been a little sore the past day or so

But if you don't like too much mascara don't be alarmed this mascara doesn't have product hanging off it or anything, its just the way i apply it, it just has enough product not too much not too little, if you like defination but not too much one coat is perfect! Would defin recommend it,Very happy with it!!
Ps forgot to mention- i bought this in boots for €16 :( Bit expensive i thought. But then in Ireland we are fairly ripped off, still its worth it. Guessing its about £12 in the UK..But thats just a guess!
Love Kerrie ♥
