1. Mac venomous villains lipstick in Violetta ( Amplified)
(excuse the 'amy winehouse liner' i had that on earlier with a neutral lip)
I bought this a few months ago. I was just browsing the venomous villains collection and this lippie attracted me straight away! i was shopping with my cousin who is more of a neutral makeup girl so looked at me in horror when i picked this up :D i think she thought i was joking or wanting it for halloween only or something. I on the other hand love colour an i particulary love 'different'. Not insanely different..but i'l happily wear a lipstick that is a head turner! :)) Shortly after we had lunch i put some on to show her its not as scary as it seems, an she loved it on me! It does look a little 'out there' in the packaging its not half as scary as it looks, and i knew it was very me! Its amplified so the pigmentation is AMAZING! You can wear it as light or as full on as you like! Its a blue tone purple so it works well with my cool skin tone. Those who have more olive or daker toned skin tones should maybe look for similar purples but with a more berry (warmer) tone to it. I was after a vibrant purply color for a while that was the right shade an this was it. To me its also very 'Twilight' an wintery so its a winner all around for me! I Love it sooo much!
2. Toni & Guy Finishing Shine Spray
I bought this a couple of weeks ago in Boots. I googled shine sprays, read many reviews, and settled on this one. I used shine sprays before john frida, paul stafford etc, an they were ok but nothing spectacular. It was more important i got a really good one this time around as the last few months my hair has undergone some a bit of a change. I had been dying my hair a reddish/plum for the past 2 yrs or more. I loved it! it suited my coolish skin tone very well.. But... it was quite high maintenance to keep it that colour.I had to dye it quite often to keep that rich plummy tone to it as it would fade so fast. Naturally i'm a mousey light brown/dirty blonde colour so when my roots grew through, it looked ridiculous next to the plum. And me being me.. :) wanted a new change an after years an years an yeaaaaars of dying my hair i really wanted to have something more natural an low maintenance. So I used 'Colour B4' which is a box of colour remover you can buy in boots (review to follow), an it worked a treat!! It removed the darkness & the red in one go! Its not quite my natural shade just yet but it is a light brown so its almost there. My hair is in fairly good condition considering the amount of processing its endured over the years but now its lighter it doesn't have that natural shine to it like it had when i was darker. So i wanted to 'fake' it..! Toni & guy shine spray has been voted best shine spray on many websites and actually won awards so this was a defin must buy for me. I think it was about 10 or 11 euro in boots, which isn't too bad. It comes in a clear glass bottle an smells just like Gucci Rush.. :) It lives up to its reputation, gives the hair a gorgeous natural shine to hair, nothing to false looking. This is a must have for me..
3. Savex lip balm in Cherry
This has been in my handbag ALL the time over the past few weeks. Every winter my lips get very dry But even more so the past two weeks due to the snowy/icy weather we have been getting. This lip balm is really lovely, it stays on for ages, moisturises 100% an smells delicious! I know alot of girls carry vaseline pots in their bags but i'm not loving vaseline at the moment, it seems to dry out my lips even more so and it doesnt last long for me. Savex for me has been a saviour this winter!
4. Bourjois Eyeshadow in 08 Beige Rose
I found this eyeshadow in my mum's room. She has many makeup products that have been there for years an she forgets they are even there. So i 'borrowed' this ;) for a little while.. Well ok i did borrow it but now its mine... mwahaha. :) So its a pretty pearl colour which could be worn all over the lid but....I thought it looked so pretty on the skin that it was a bit wasted as an eyeshadow, an would be an Excellent highlight on the cheekbone. Its a lovely pearly sheen not glittery at all. I tried it one day last week an fell in love with it..! Its soooo so pretty on..
So if you looking for a lovely highlight without paying high end prices..check this out!! It makes the skin look very healthy an fresh. Beautiful pearly sheen without looking over the top..!
Another must buy...!
Ps: My mum had this for a couple of yrs at least so i'm not totally certain they still sell it but i had a look at their website an i think they do still sell it, its not very clear on their web page, as it doesnt list all the names to the shades on there..
